Sorry about the lack of entries as of late. Over the busy weekend, I had been working non-stop on site redesigns as far as Panzer Dragoon: Zone goes as well as this one. I didn’t want to lose all of my entries in zoneart, but I didn’t get much choice… Bastards. But now, everything is better. Almost all of the subdomains are controlled from a single area on the site. So that’s fun…
Also, I’ve been feeling a bit of the plague recently. A black death that comes in the form of when I want to sketch something and my hand goes “NO! WE’RE GOING TO GO THIS WAY, INSTEAD!” Fucking artist’s block is the worst thing to ever have, especially when you’ve got a comic that needs constant updates. The sketching has been remedied, but the coloring and inking needs work now. FUCK!
On the plus side, I just got a fistful of cash for selling my film class books. Ahh…. don’t need ‘em anymore, and I now have enough cash to go to the PlanetRadio 93.3 Mother Shuckin’ Birthday Show with aNT. It’s a good lineup so far: Breaking Benjamin, Unwritten Law, 3 Doors Down, Exies, 30 Seconds to Mars, Skindred, Sum 41, No Address, and Alterbridge. I’ve seen Skindred before and they’re fucking awesome, but the seller was Breaking Benjamin and the addition of 30 Seconds to Mars. Jared Leto, lead singer of 30stm is filming a movie here in Jax and was called out by one of our djs. Thing is, Leto called in and agreed to do the show. Me and aNT have similar tastes in music so this show was a must see for the both of us. I can’t wait to go. If you’re in the Jax area, come and see this show on Sunday May 8, at the Jacksonville City Fairgrounds.
Summer classes galore it seems. I have four classes I get to take over the summer months, thus negating any possibility over the summer of me having FUN! I want to have a fun summer, goddammit. I haven’t had a fun summer since 2002. And that’s no good. I would much rather enjoy my summer months than have to attend three classes in the first two months of my time off. However, I get to have the last two months of the summer taken up by only ONE class. So that’s fun. Plus, it’s a hybrid class. We meet Tuesdays and the rest of the time is online. Whee!
Well, I got shit to work on and a comic to keep up. I’ll check you all later.
